Use MedAssistant on your phone
Open MedAssistant in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen.
MedAssistant works in your phone's browser, with nothing to install. It's handy for recording a visit with the Scribe: the note is then waiting on your computer, in the inbox.
Add MedAssistant to your home screen
An icon on your home screen opens MedAssistant like an app.
- Open www.medassistant.ca in Safari and log in.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Choose Add to Home Screen and, if you like, rename the icon.
- Tap Add.

Record with the Scribe on your phone
- The first time, allow microphone access when the browser asks. If you denied it, turn it back on in the browser settings for www.medassistant.ca.
- Keep the screen on and MedAssistant in the foreground while recording: some phones cut off the microphone for a page that goes to the background.
- Place the phone between you and the patient, with the microphone unobstructed.
