Scribe overview
The Scribe turns a visit or a dictation into a structured clinical note.
The Scribe listens to your visit, or your dictation, and writes a structured clinical note based on the category you choose: single-complaint visit, follow-up, mental health, dictation and many others depending on your profession. You keep your eyes on the patient; the note is ready a few seconds after the recording ends.
How it works
You record. Choose the note category, add details if needed (vital signs, previous note), then start. You can pause and resume.
The Scribe writes. The audio is transcribed, then the note is written from the transcript, the details and the attachments you provided.
You review. Read the note, correct it directly or regenerate it, then copy it into your electronic medical record (EMR).
You remain the author of the note
An AI-generated note can contain errors or omissions. Read it in full before using it; the transcript is there to check what was said.
Two ways to open the Scribe
- Standalone note: the Scribe entry in the sidebar, or the Standalone Scribe button in the top bar. The note is created in your inbox, with no link to another report.
- On a report: from a questionnaire or an agent report, the Scribe for this report button opens the Scribe next to the report. The note is added to it and takes into account what the patient already answered. See Scribe with a questionnaire or an agent.
The Scribe is available to the Professional role, in organizations that have access to at least one scribe. The manager adds scribes in Organization › Forms / Scribes.
